WA - Mt View: Haven't seen WA in person, but have seen film. I've seen Mt view a few times. I like Washington Academy by 10+

Houlton - Belfast: Same deal, haven't seen Houlton in person but have seen film. They have a good win against MDI. Have seen belfast numerous times. If belfast is shooting well they will win by 10+ as well. Could be a fun game though. Belfast by 6

Winslow - MCI: Have seen both teams play a bunch of times. Saw the first matchup at Winslow. They split during the regular season, if Winslow can make their shots they win, if MCI slows it down and plays their game they will win. Winslow by 8

PI vs Ellsworth: Have seen both teams on film, PI beat MDI....PI has a couple more options offensively than Ellsworth. I like PI by 12.

Yarmouth is the team to beat they are really good. They could play with anyone in A and I don't think anyone can beat them and I'm not a fan of Yarmouth there good.

Have seen wa twice. Vs Hermon and Orono. Had a shot to win late against Orono with game tied and another down 3 as time expired. Hard to tell when teams don't play each other. Case is a very quick pg. WA athletic up front. Should be fun

MCI v Winslow, Winslow won by 6 early and lost at MCI by 2. Would think this will be competitive

Whomever said that Orono was too slow for the Cross Center is just plain wrong. The athletes on that team are behomeths, this much is true, but they are also all speed demons. Put Jake Kauffman up against any player in the league in a 40 yard dash and he'd dominate. For my prediction, I will have to take WA to take the whole thing, they can absolutely score at will when they're on and I expect a monster tourney out of them

Can't imagine them being able to run with MDI or Hermon on that court. But we'll probably be able to find out if they can at least keep up with Hermon.

MDI and Hermon both play on tiny courts, Orono plays on a larger court and has played 6 games in 2 years on the Cross Center Court. MDI played 1 last year - a huge loss to the slow, unathletic Orono boys. As a Calais fan I watched them give our boys everything they could handle 2 years ago. While WA and Central loom as large challenges for them and should be considered the favorite, the Red Riots shouldn't be afraid of an MDI team they handily bounced out of the first round last year.
