Orono guard Desisto commits to WPI

ORONO - Orono boys basketball guard Nate Desisto has established himself as one of the most athletic guards in all of Class B North, and now he's ready to take his game up a notch.

Desisto officially committed to play Division III basketball as Worcester Polytechnic Institute Saturday, making his way down to Massachusetts next season. He has not declared a major yet, but noted the decision was made with academics as his priority.

Jack Casale is closer to 6'4" than 6'3", maybe a hair over 6'4"

Casale should start immediately and have a huge impact on a solid St. Joe's squad that already includes Mainers like Quinn Richardson-Newton, Ben Malloy, and Ian Milekis.

I agree, the sky's the limit for Casale and they will be fun to watch. I also agree with Miren, he's closer to 6'4", 6'5" in sneakers. (which is how players in the NBA and Major D-1 are measured.) :)
