You are right there and I'd bet Stevens loves Brown .. His kind of guy... physical, aggressive, smart ..

Ainge needs to make some sort of big splash this summer or I can only see Celtics fans getting more and more restless.

I don't think we need a big splash. We'll be better with another year of experience anyway. Should break 50 wins next year with no new additions. It's a team game and I like our current roster! :)

I do too but they don't have that "go-to" guy like Durant who can take over a game in the fourth quarter. That's what the Celtics need and until they get it, they'll be a middle of the pack playoff team in the East.

Being retired I have time to read many NBA team blogs, boards, and fan sites....I can tell you for a fact that Danny Ainge is developing a reputation around the league....and it's not a good one and will not serve Celtics well.....there is a great reluctance for GMs to want to negotiate with Ainge...he's not liked...very difficult to close deals with him.....the bar keeps changing....he's not viewed as a straight edge by many of his peers...

I like the type of athletes in Celtics lineup and trend ...

I also like old school with a banger/shot-blocker in the middle and no better fit / name then Timofey Mozgov 9.5m base salary est for 16-17 .. Does a lot of things well ..

I'm not expert in salary cap, etc.. but i know he's unrestricted and would be a major upgrade in that department .. even as a backup guy ..

Bring in the stud through free agency, add important pieces around Durant or ... get a nasty in the middle and drop dead shooters .

We know it's time for Ainge to make a move if Shaughnessy is calling him out
