DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team returns home to Lundholm Gymnasium for two of the last three games of the regular season. They begin the homestand on Wednesday morning hosting the Hartford Hawks at 11 A.M. on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN App.

STORYLINES
UNH is 7-6 in America East and 16-10 overall after Sunday's 51-46 at UMBC.
The Wildcats are tied for fourth place in the league standings with Stony Brook.
UNH plays its Senior Day game against Stony Brook on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Carlie Pogue is No. 5 on UNH's career scoring list with 1,454 points.
Quarterfinals, semifinals of the league tournament are March 3 and 4 in Portland, Maine.
UNH is 8-3 in Lundholm Gymnasium this season.
The Wildcats won their first outright America East regular season championship with a 15-1 league record last year.

Pogue, 'Cats Get Revenge, Stop Hartford at Home

DURHAM, N.H. - Senior center Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) poured in a season-high 29 points and added nine rebounds to lead the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team to a 76-58 win over Hartford in front of a loud and lively Education Day crowd of 1,337 in Lundholm Gymnasium on Wednesday morning.

UNH got some revenge against the Hawks and improved to 17-10 overall and 8-6 in America East. The Wildcats lost at Hartford, 85-49, on Jan. 31.

The Wildcats play Stony Brook for Senior Day in Lundholm on Saturday at 1 p.m. in its final regular season game of the season.

Senior forward Kat Fogarty (Westminster, Mass.) had 17 points and seven rebounds and senior guard Brittni Lai (Irvington, N.Y.) added 13 points and eight assists. Lai also had a career-high six steals.

UNH Hosts Stony Brook for Senior Day Saturday (1 P.M.)

The Seawolves earned their third straight conference win on Wednesday night, 53-49, at UMBC. After trailing at halftime, the Seawolves outscored UMBC 30-17 in the second half en route to their victory.

Senior guard Aaliyah Worley was the team's leading scorer with 13 points and also contributed six rebounds. Junior guard Shania Johnson pitched in with 10 points to go along with eight assists. Freshman Forward Mckenzie Bushee notched her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Since Stony Brook last played UNH on January 21, the Seawolves have gone 6-2, dropping games to Albany and Binghamton. On the season, the Seawolves are 16-11 overall and 8-6 in America East play.

Johnson leads the team in scoring with 15.6 points per game and is fifth in America East. Matthews is not far behind with 14.1 points per game and is ranked first in the conference in three-point percentage (.391). Junior Cheyenne Clark leads the team and is ranked second in the conference in rebounds per game with 9.1. Johnson is second in the conference in assists per game with 5.5 and ranks first in the conference in three-point field goals made with 83.

Stony Brook averages 63.6 points per game, which is the fifth-best scoring average in the conference. The Seawolves are fourth in scoring defense at 58 points per game. They are second in field goal percentage and second in three-point field goal percentage.

Caroline Mccombs is in her fourth season as the head coach of the Seawolves. Last season Mccombs lead her team to a 12-18 overall record and a 5-11 mark in America East.

Lai Leads 'Cats in Setback vs. Stony Brook

DURHAM, N.H. – Senior guard Brittni Lai (Irvington, N.Y.) scored 20 points to lead the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team on Saturday afternoon, but the Wildcats came up short against Stony Brook and lost 62-56 on Senior Day in Lundholm Gymnasium.

UNH is now 17-11 overall and 8-7 in America East with just one game remaining in the regular season. The Wildcats play at UMass Lowell on Thursday night at 7. Stony Brook is also 17-11 overall and improved to 9-6 in the league to take sole possession of fourth place in the standings.

Senior forward Olivia Healy (Reading, Mass.) had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats and senior center Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) had 11 points and seven rebounds.

Wildcats Travel to Lowell for Regular Season Finale

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team rounds out the regular season traveling to Lowell, Mass. to face the UMass Lowell River Hawks Thursday evening at 7 P.M. The game will be presented on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN App. The Wildcats will then have the following weekend off as the conference standings get set for the America East tournament seeding.

Healy, Lai Pace 'Cats in Final Pre-Tourney Test

LOWELL, Mass. – Senior forward Olivia Healy (Reading, Mass.) and senior guard Brittni Lai (Irvington, N.Y.) had huge games to lead the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team to a dominant second-half rally and 70-49 win over UMass Lowell on Thursday night in the Tsongas Center.

UNH closed out the regular season with an 18-11 overall record and 9-7 mark in America East.

The Wildcats now await their opponent in the America East playoffs that begin with the quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 in the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine.

Healy had 19 points and 12 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Lai had 18 points, six assists, five rebounds and five steals.

The Wildcats trailed 37-30 with 7:01 left in the third period and cranked up the defense and went on a 14-0 run that eventually expanded into a 37-7 stretch that put them in complete control of the game.
