UNH head coach Bill Herrion recorded his 400th career victory Jan. 10 with the Wildcats' 71-67 win against Binghamton University at Lundholm Gym; 163 wins have been at UNH.

Senior forward Iba Camara is currently No. 2 on UNH's leaderboard for career rebounds with 868; he needs 29 more to tie the benchmarch of 897 held by Dave Pemberton (1969-72).

Senior forward Tanner Leissner is No. 2 on UNH's career points leaderboard with 1,715; he needs 146 to tie the scoring record of 1,861 held by Al McClain (1980-84). Leissner is No. 23 on the America East scoring leaderboard.

Ogwuche Is Perfect 3-for-3 on 3-Pointers, Matches Career High of 15 Points

LOWELL, Mass – Tanner Leissner (Converse, Texas) recorded a game-high 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team to Monday afternoon's 74-62 victory against the University of Massachusetts Lowell at Tsongas Center.

Leissner scored 20+ points for the ninth time this season and also tallied his seventh double-double of the year. He also had three assists

John Ogwuche (Makurdi, Nigeria) matched his career high of 15 points and tied his personal best with three 3-pointers. Darryl Stewart (Atlanta, Ga.) and Jacoby Armstrong (Dallas, Texas) also scored in double digits with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Iba Camara (Dakar, Senegal) matched his season high of 17 rebounds to help the Wildcats record a 44-28 edge on the glass.

UMass Lowell was led by Jahad Thomas (22p, 11r).

It is the third consecutive win for UNH, which never trailed in the game to improve to 7-11 overall and 3-1 in America East, as well as 8-1 against UMass Lowell, including 5-0 at Tsongas Center. UML is now 6-11, 0-4 AE...

Ogwuche Scores Career-High 17 in 67-56 Loss to Vermont

DURHAM, N.H. – John Ogwuche (Makurdi, Nigeria) scored a career-high 17 points for the University of New Hampshire, but the University of Vermont outscored the hosts 42-29 in the second half to rally for a 67-56 victory in Thursday night's men's basketball game at Lundholm Gym.

Ogwuche scored 12 of his personal-best 17 points in the second half, when he shot 3-for-6 from the floor, including 2 of 3 on 3-pointers, as well as 4-for-4 from the foul line.

Tanner Leissner (Converse, Texas) scored 11 of his 14 points in the first half. Iba Camara (Dakar, Senegal) pulled down a game-high nine rebounds; he will tie the UNH record for career rebounds with three more.

UVM was led by Trae Bell-Haynes, who scored 18 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to lead the Catamounts' surge. Ernie Duncan netted 17 points.

UNH, which entered the game on a three-game win streak, is now 7-12 overall and 3-2 in America East. UVM has now won eight straight both in this series and this season to improve to 15-5, 5-0.
