This thread is ridiculous. After the 2nd post, it just sounds like a couple of 10 year olds arguing. Reread the last 8 posts and then think for a moment about the tone of the posts (and the utter lack of any coherent thought or insight that went into them). I used to enjoy debating issues on this board....

I agree. While I have participated in some of the banter, there are a couple of posters that really do little to add to any conversation here other than making totally senseless quips about things unrelated to the subject at hand.......it's really tiresome.

So now you are instructing Mainerman how to answer, you afraid he's not smart enough to get the gist of the question. He's the one who set himself up with such a dumb comment.

My thoughts are if being a 70 yr old former POW can get you the nomination of your party to hold the most powerful position in the world, being an Iraqi War Vet should get you an automatic 2 terms in congress if that's your desire. I've seen the Cote ads, who's the 2nd vet running and is it against each other or a different district?

Does being a veteran translate well to running the largest business in the world?

nice comment mainerman. I wouldn't say Dean is too dumb seeing how he graduated from college with a medical degree and he is a doctor. I'm sure you are much smarter than he is.

I have say.......I really don't care for Howard Dean. His attitude and style rub me the wrong way.
