What a great 10 point win in OT over Binghamton today! Tremendous defensive effort....this group plays so well together. Coach Vachon really knows how to max out their size and talent....I'm consistently amazed.

Nice win for the women with a 75-65 OT W over Binghamton. Anne Simon with 23 pts, Dora Sarr with strong game running the offense and Maddy McVickar with a great defensive performance.
This makes Maine 7-4 in the conference and 11-14 overall.
Mendoza line,

Great win Maine! Awesome team chemistry and coaching! Hard to believe that this team has a chance to move into a tie for second in the America East Conference with a win over Lowell on Wed night!

NIce, gritty win today. The Reaction from Vachon when Anna made the 3 in overtime was great to see!

Sidenote- Nice to see 6'3 Freshmen from Gardiner, Lizzy Gruber in attendance. Talk is she was on unofficial visit this morning and picked up her 1st offer. The in state recruiting is picking up for Vachon and Staff!

Good to get on Ms. Gruber's recruitment early....she is gonna be a good one! Nice game for her to attend in terms of atmosphere and excitement. :)

Honestly if it weren't for Stony Brook's wacky dominance of the league record wise.....Vachon deserves Coach of the Year gain. Speaking of Stony Brook, I'm calling it.....they are going down in the semis.

Mainejeff.... I agree about Stonybrook, down in the semi finals. Also, Maine played the best defense I have ever seen them play last night, blocked shots, intercepting passes, steals off the dribble... it was incredible. And they basically have only two subs to put in so it shows just how good of shape this team is. They hustled for a solid 40 minutes. Also, you never know who is going to be the big point scorer. Can't wait for the tournament, and definitely can't wait for next year.
