Senior Andrew Fleming drew up from way beyond the three-point line and sank the shot as the horn sounded, giving Maine the 75-72 overtime victory over Columbia University on Thursday evening at the Cross Insurance Center.

Maine needs SHOOTING!! This offense cannot function without knockdown shooters! Prijovic 2-10 from 3 should probably focus more on his strengths (defense & rebounding). I don’t like to question the coaching decisions, but really confused as to why Stephane Ingo received so little playing time today? Had his best game as a Black Bear against Columbia and was buried on the bench for most of the game. I can only assume they felt he would not hold up defensively against Otchere?
The 5-24 effort from 3 today would be inexcusable if they played Duke. Need to see more fight from this team. Their efforts to attack the basket and get to the foul line are few and far between. They are not a small team. In my opinion, they need to play with more force.

Maine loses by 6 to UNH. Again, Maine is ice cold shooting. Prijovic 1-9 from deep. El-Darwich 3-16 from the field. I hate to be negative, but maybe someone else should be getting those attempts?? Stumer? Ingo? Where is Zarko??? You are missed, my son...
