I'm actually surprised that so many tickets have been sold. $20 for a hard cold metal bench with no back......$35 for a chair back......I think that sales have gone quite well. This is FCS football in Orono, Maine......there will be 7-8K in the stands in a stadium that seats not much more than that.

Looks to me like ticket sales picked up alot in the last 24 hrs let's hope that continues till Saturday. It seems to be matching the first game which was 7,478 and I guessed 8K. So let's go with 7,750 for this one. The big increase in tix sales are in the season tix this year. ;)

Great article and mentions that Maine has not had back to back championships since the 01-02 season when we played in the A10 league. This game will prove just how good we are, pretender or contender. Sort of surprised that Towson is making the long, long drive to Orono according to Coach Ambrose vs. flying

Makes you wonder what their travel budget is. Maine typically flies anywhere south of NYC.

This would be awesome. When I read ticket sales are horrendous, I don't envision 7000 , I envision a lame 4-5000 .. anything less than pretty much full would be a major disappointment tonite.

A win is what counts, raining now but fully expect it to stop by 5pm. Those fortunate enough to make it will be rewarded ;)

Anyone trying to watch on flofootball.com and getting the message that the event isn't live yet?
