Announcements slowing down now......still a lot of names to keep an eye on. FBS signings need to shake out for some of these guys still hoping for some FBS scholarship $$$ and an opportunity to play at a higher level.

Names I'm following....

Dorian Royal (DE/DT) - Will not commit/sign until Feb.

Austin Ambush (FS) - Just had OV, following a lot of UM recruits/coaches

Trevin Ewing (ATH/KR) - Seems to be leaning toward a CAA program...hopefully Maine.

Tedy Afful (WR) - A very talented receiver trying to catch-on with an FBS program....Maine wants him badly.

Naseer Penn (WR) - 6-1 long stride breakaway type receiver. Maine offered on 12/11. Under-the-radar.

Kamere Day (WR) - A Penn State track commit that may be drifting back toward football. Slightish build but blazing speed.

Still many FBS transfers out there too!

Ask and you shall receive  The FBS portal can be an asset for FCS teams as well. Great pickup as well as the LB Tyshaun Stewart!!!

Here is the link from the UMaine football site about the early signing, I would agree with Charlton the largest and the most talented to date :D

It's easy to say every year is the best recruiting year. Only time will tell in that regard. But I will say that it sure seems like the staff addressed 2 of the biggest needs in RB and QB.

I would say the Top 3 recruits are:

1. Tyshawn Stewart
2. Tavion Banks
3. Tim Burgartz

Kind of hard to get excited about another 5-7 wins next year. Know each tree by the fruit it bears. Nick Charlatan isn't the answer.

I was referring to the early recruits being the most recruits and most talented. ;) We have not done well in the early recruiting signing, this looks very good.

as far as importance to next year's team, the two RBs are the clear 1 & 2 in this early class.

Otherwise I see Stewart as the player most likely to make a big impact, so that would be my top 3.

Several of the players guided Nazareth to 2019 District XI championship title, 2019 EPC title....whether they went there or not. Impressive!!

:)

Overlooked and underrated LB (perhaps because of speed) that should grow into a great DE pass rusher... No offers yet. 1130 SAT/23 ACT.... UCONN and possibly URI with "interest" but still looking for a home. Just thought I would share....Maybe the Black Bear powers will stumble upon and have interest...

What will it take for you to just go away? I'll send you a bath and bodyworks gift card if you just stop once and for all.
