Week # 15 UMO Vs. Weber State Predictions

Postby Archer Bunker » Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:29 am

Well lets face the facts this UMO squad is pretty darn good. Actually this is a very special team. They have an excellent defensive unit and a very good QB along with a very good offensive unit and you have to give Coach Joe Harasymiak a lot of credit for what he has done with this team. That being said I think this UMO squad is capable of beating any team in the DI AA football league. Up next is the Quarter-Final game against Weber State. The season moves on for UMO.

UMO 28
Weber ST. 17

GO! GO! UMO!

Think this is our best shot to make the semi-finals!!! GO BLUE!!!!
Would love to see UMaine show the game at the Alfond or student union that would be a great way to watch the game ;)

AB,

completely agree with your post...except I don't think we can beat NDSU. Anyone else? Yes. NDSU is at a completely different level than anyone else. They would be competitive in an FBS conference and might win the Sun Belt. I'd love to have a chance to play them in Frisco!!

Let's go Maine. Beat Weber!!

I just realized I was at all of those 3 quarterfinal games... won't be there this year so maybe that is good news for the team.

Georgia Southern is an awesome experience. I will be there next season and encourage all of you who can go to make the trip.

Georgia Southern is a great place to watch a game as is Georgia State and for that matter Georgia, lol. Really happy for this Maine team and especially the Maine players!

Staying with Maine to win. I do have to be at my grandson's basketball game so I'll miss most of the game. Might catch the last part of the game when I get home. I have a good distance to drive though.

Maine 35
Weber 14

I don't think Maine will go to Ogden, Utah and put 35 or more points on the board. I think if Maine wins it will be a low scoring defensive struggle. Both defenses are highly ranked in the FCS. Weber State is also a much more experienced group then Maine, but so was Jax State. This Maine team doesn't seem to get rattled at all. And they have proven they can play well and win on the road in key elimination games, i.e. Rhody and Towson. Those were must win games, and let's not forget the final game of the year at home against Elon. They had to win that game to have any shot to get a national seed. And of course we all know what happened in that game.

My prediction is Maine 21 Weber State 17. And I predict some Electric Ernie magic with a kickoff return to the house!! Weber State has way to much pride in their special teams not to kick deep at least once in this game.
