fafan wrote:Bam , there is a post on AGS dedicated to Hurricane Florence and the impact to FCS schools, interesting read to say the least.
Also,Bam I copied some quotes from UNH fans about their 0-2 start and pasted to our UMaine-UNH week 1 thread. I know you would enjoy some of the over the top views b/c the team is 0-2 and without their starting QB. Some fans are actually calling for McDonnell's head!!! Can u imagine going to the playoffs 14 yrs in a row and starting the 15th year 0-2 and wanting your coach fired

hahahah. They are about to be 0-3. hahaha

With the game being cancelled due to impending destructive hurricane.....probably not the best way to go about getting it. They are getting a lot of blow back on social media....stay classy Maine.

The fact that Maine didn't actually " tag " UCF in the twitter post should indicate it was in jest. The blowback on social media is from people that don't know a joke when they see it.

I get that...but in today's hyper sensitive world it probably wasn't the best move. Let the winning and undefeated record do the talking. ;)

I'm with Jeff on this one...joke or not, poor taste to make light of a potentially serious situation.
