On a lighter note, for week 3 entertainment. unh will start the year 0-3 and very possibly miss the playoffs for the first time in 15 years.

Maine's next opponent ( I am sure this will be a separate post next week ) , Central Michigan lost, at home, to the concensus worst FBS program in the country , Kansas. Kansas had lost 46 straight games on the road and was coming off a home loss to FCS " power" Nichols . Don't want to get ahead of myself, but this sort of smells like another winnable FBS game. :o :o

Due to Hurricane Florence, the following CAA games have been changed:

Robert Morris at James Madison - Now Thursday 9/13 7pm
Elon at William & Mary - Postponed, date TBD
St. Francis at Richmond - Cancelled (unconfirmed)

The Elon-W&M game could have a trickle down effect with the conference schedule as the CAA wants to get every league game in. This might mean some shifting of opponents and bye weeks.

So, the CAA doesn't use the America East baseball model for scheduling and weather?

Bam , there is a post on AGS dedicated to Hurricane Florence and the impact to FCS schools, interesting read to say the least.
Also,Bam I copied some quotes from UNH fans about their 0-2 start and pasted to our UMaine-UNH week 1 thread. I know you would enjoy some of the over the top views b/c the team is 0-2 and without their starting QB. Some fans are actually calling for McDonnell's head!!! Can u imagine going to the playoffs 14 yrs in a row and starting the 15th year 0-2 and wanting your coach fired
