Discuss.

Hilltoppers start the year tomorrow night at Camp Randall to take on the fourth-ranked Badgers.

Oh baby...

In Maine's best years we can match up our 1's comparably to most Mid Majors 1's. It's depth we lack obviously. I think we maintained our health tonight. Losing Edwards for 1st half will hurt.

Doak HAS to deliver on every opportunity he's given.

It's cliche' but:
Create turnovers
Do not turn the ball over
Do not have penalties
Win Special Teams

If we can do that we could have a chance.

Go Blue!

Interestingly enough I will be cheering against WKU two weeks in a row. My child goes to Wisconsin so we will all be watching tonight! Hopefully the Badgers pound them a little bit. I would suggest Maine won't have enough to win but will be hoping for some sort of turnover that gets us over the top. I will send in my prediction after I watch the game tonight.

The most important question I have for the WK game is....

Who is going? I will be tailgating . Can't wait to see this team up close! If anyone is going to Kentucky.. let me know.

Bam, hopefully some fans attend, not sure you'll get many form here. I am actually looking at C.Michigan as the Pats are at Detroit Sunday nite. Definitely making the trip to the Yale Bowl!!!

W. Kentucky-Wisconsin tonite at 9pm, ESPN. Think a bunch of Mainers will be watching this one ;)
Also on Saturday C.Michigan at Kentucky ESPNU, 3:30.

Anyone notice how poor UNH travels, if there was 75 fans last nite that is being generous.

I believe this game can absolutely be classified as " winnable". With the talent we have on defense, they can absolutely keep this anemic offense in check. Don't turn it over. Play as well as they did on Thursday and this is winnable.

Bam, I agree WKU is a winnable game compared to say Toledo 2 yrs ago. They were hard to judge when your playing the #4 team in the country. Eckels the QB is mobile but I'm not sure his receivers are as good as ours. ;)

Two games of interest at noon on the ESPN channels-
JMU and NC State
Villanova and Temple

3:30 C.Michigan and Kentucky

I think this game is winnable as well but because I believe Maines offense can beat Western Kentucky's defense.
The WKU defense seems porous to me and can be beaten in the passing lanes. I think Ferguson will be able to pick that defense apart.
