"aechamps": Thanks again. I need all the help I can get at my age. That makes sense. From what I have seen on highlights of Irish and some of the other NERR prep players He is right there with any of them. AE what do you think about Irish?

I am a little confused because in his Central Arizona JUCO Stats he shot 62.6% from the floor, averaged 14.3 ppg and 8.8 reb pg, started all 30 games (only player to do so) but had his average minutes played at 12.7 per game (only 1 player averaed more at 14+). Those are darned good stats for that little playing time, must have been a turnover or a typo by who ever made up the figures? As those average minutes per game for all players didn't add up to 200 minutes per game averaged it was just 93 plus so something wrong there.

I say Maine should take a chance on him as he is immediately eligible being a JUCO and he looks as good or better then what Maine has back for their 2 bigs who are listed not as centers but BIG FORWARDS on verball commits.com Maine's roster for next year.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 is first day of late signing period for letter of intents. If Moss signs with UMaine it looks like he will be the first signee under the new coaching regime for the Men's basketball team as of right this minute he is the only verbal commit listed on verbalcommits.com. The other verbal commit 6'7" Jonathan Komagum withdrew his verbal commit on April 7th.

Yes, he withdrew his commitment on April 7th....2 days after Maine mens basketball Twitter account posted team workout photo of entire squad including the 4 "transfers". ;)

"thebam": Thanks for that info. 1 scholarship player down and 5 scholarship players to go so long as there are no more transfers.

But are they even transferring? They keep popping up in team photos.

"mainejeff": I wouldn't be too concerned as if any of the 5 decide to return would be more of a positive than a negative as all 5 are guards and better then some of the guards that are staying.

verbalcommits.com states that there are 433 players looking to transfer right today, but many more haven't found schools then have. Also, D-1 men average about 700 transfers a year.

Once the late "letter of Intent" signing period which started today this should speed the entire process up some be it at Maine or nationally as to keep up with the 700 transfers a year average there still have to be 267 more transfers nationally.
