The conference made the University pay for the 200 giveaways, but honestly, I don't think they'll be used up. Kids seem to peace out ASAP on Friday, if they even go to class at all. The fact that there's no designated student section at the CIC is a problem. They need some legitimate portable bleachers on the open end, not the leftover deathtraps from the Bangor State Fair.
The atmosphere is only what we make of it. If you're pissing enough old people off around you, you're doing it right.
So there is no student section, that is terrible!!!
Therefore they will scattered in with the rest of the fans? Here is the one chance to show a national audience that we can support our only D1 school. We have known since the Albany victory that there was a strong chance this game was going to happen. That was two weeks ago and the university rents the CIC for close to 30 games they certainly could have gotten portable bleachers and put the students at one of the baskets where they could be seen and make some noise. Mr. Diamond, if you are seeing this please respond that you are doing something along these lines so the students can have a positive impact in cheering and supporting our team and university!!!
