Maine women's basketball finding consistency

ORONO - Maine women's basketball is starting to hit its stride in conference play.

Since a tough loss to Binghamton, Maine is 3-1 and is getting contributions across the board.

Millan, Saar collect America East awards

ORONO - Maine women's basketball is rolling, and that's in large part due to two of its young guns.

Guard Blanca Millan was named America East Player of the Week after she extended her double-digit scoring streak to 18 consecutive games this past week. She averaged 19 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, helping lead Maine to wins against Vermont and Hartford.
