Looks like another poor year ahead with this staff

"oldfart": "Doing the same thing over and over again ( 2014-15 3-27, 2015-16 8-22, 2016-17 7-25. 2017-18 3-8 so far this year) 21-82 counting non-D-1 opponents and probably 13-82 not counting non D-1 wins) and expecting different results is the definition of basketball insanity.

My question is if the coaching staff is not going to be rehired will they announce that before the season is done so that the AD can get a early start looking for a replacement especially for recruiting.

Only way this current staff is retained is if for some unknown reason things change and they go 8-8 or better in America East Conference play so they can get a home tourney game and win that game.

mj: As far as coaching goes or lack of it, "If the shoe fits, wear it". It's that simple.

This rhetoric is LAME and TIRED!!!! Maine played a freshman QB. A kicker cost us a win at unh and not knocking down a hail mary is the difference in winning 6 games vs 4 this year!!!! If you watched the Umass game, you would know that a couple of stupid penalties late cost a potential win there. This team was extremely close to winning 7 and getting in the playoffs. But because clowns like you hate Maine, you want to lable it " poor" because of the record and the record alone. You probably didn't watch any games this year at all. Get out with that garbage.

Getting away from the "why's" and blame game, how will Maine replace Mack's production on the field.
Not that you can "replace" an All American....I think the passing game would go a lot easier with the threat of Mack on the field. Your young QB will improve in the decision making process as he matures. he already looks to have the physical tools. This has to be a blow to the play-off hopes in the next couple years. (I still hate the idea of 2 FBS games in a season. It leaves the margin of error so small). I, for one, feel that Maine has been heading in the right direction, but this has to be a set back.
