But you will go to the UNH game, as the streak is gonna end. How is that for being optimistic ;)

It ain't gonna end until McDonnell is done coaching at UNH. ;)

No sense in beating a deadhorse but in 2011 South Alabama was still an FCS Subdivision school
then began the two year transition to FBS. It just seems to me that the State of Maine could look
into this matter as a matter of protocol if nothing else. Portland has about the same metro size (meaning all
communities that make up the Portland Metro area).

I would like to see UMAINE'S next AD look into the possibilities at least before everyone just blows off
the idea once again....

There are minimum average attendance requirements to become a FBS school. Maine is officially eliminated from consideration. You gotta let it go dude. Zero chance.

All football programs in New England should be FCS. Certain state schools that have made the jump have struggled mightily and Boston College is Boston College.

I think it is fair to say UCONN has made a go of it. UMASS not so well.

Connecticut lost nearly $1.8 million when they played in the Fiesta Bowl. That’s not making a go of it.

BC is definitely the exception to this. Other than that, I agree.
