Week #12 UMO Vs. Stony Brook

Postby Archer Bunker » Sat Nov 11, 2017 8:08 pm

Well a season I had high hopes for UMO has gone down the drain. I really thought this team had potential, but it was not to be. I do wonder what might have been if Cozy was still here. From what I've seen I doubt UMO will be able to beat Stony Brook. The Sea Wolves will be to much for the Black Bears. Last game and it's at home, UMO could end the season at .500 with a win, but nope ain't gonna happen.

GO! GO! UMO!

Who cares now? I was right on the money again last week. Maine will lose again and end the season at 4-6.

Maine plays well at home. If they can get a lead and don't need to rely on Ferguson to make plays down the stretch then win.

With a hope and a prayer... I kinda think the UMASS FBS battle will raise the teams character...If we can limit the "Fergy errors" we might pull it off!

Which Fergy errors? The ones where he puts the ball right on the receivers hands and they drop it? Or the one where fergy misses kicks? or the ones where fergy commits stupid penalties? Maybe the one where he allows 9 yards per pass and almost 500 yards of offense? Not sure which ones you are talking about.
This constant narrative that Chris Ferguson is responsible for everything that has gone wrong this year is tired bull $hit. I realize it's probably fueled by the desire for someone else to be QB. 1 game left. IT AINT HAPPENING! LET IT GO.

Agree 100% with you Bam......I've been supporting UMO for many years and one thing I have learned over the years is that so many fans are so quick to put the blame on the QB or the coach. Seems like every other year they are screaming for a new coach and that's not just for football either.

Spot on Bam!!!
We have played great at the Alfond and would love to see a W for the seniors. History shows we usually play a very inspirational football game and if we can win the turnover battle we have a chance.
