I'm thinking Nova will hold the UMaine score to no more than 20-24 pts., absent a turnover or two that produce additional TDs. Game result will depend largely on UMaine defense holding Nova to no more than 17-20 pts., and no late-4th qrtr. TD.

Therefore:

UMaine 24
Nova 17

After a week off to prepare, I am going to say Chris Ferguson gives some of you a big dose of STFU.

Nova averages just over 50yds of run defense/game. Don't think they can keep Mack and our Oline in check but their defense is tough as heck. Really a must win for both teams if they have any chance of making the playoffs.
With Bednarczk out their redshirt freshman was 5 for 15 and 3 interceptions, that should give us the edge.

I don't know if this team is any better than when Jack Cosgrove was coach. Maine should win this game against Nova, but it is so hard to try and predict with this team. I'll take Maine in a close one though 24-21.

I think the QB injury is the difference. He plays and Nova wins. He isn't...so Maine gets one on the road.

Maine 23, Villanova 14

Maine will not win with Fergurson! Another 4 quarter choke.

BB27,

Who would you start? Have you seen enough game reps of any other QB to make a strong case for replacing Ferguson? I don't think the coaching staff is purposefully starting a substandard QB.

We shall see........I take it you don't like Fergy to much. I like him and he is only going to get better and better each game he plays.

GO! GO! UMO!
