Mainejeff: Thanks for the post. Watching this 5'7" point guard with a year of prep and being an international player I thought she has excellent point guard or shooting guard skills. Outstanding catch and shoot 3 point shooter. Takes good shots. Good ball-handler. Good dribbler to the hoop.
High basketball IQ and makes excellent basketball decisions.

Maine has some good freshmen point guards to try to fill Sigi's shoes along with 5'8" Sophomore Brosseau.

Excellent shooter in 5'9" off guard Freshmen Fogarty.

Freshmen 5'11" Carroll plays well at forward

Both freshmen 5'6" Saar and 5'7" Timson have potential.

Only problem is possible mismatches defensively.

Both freshmen 6'5" center Williams and 6'3" Center/forward Barra are two excellent BIGS.

Excellent freshmen balance 2 point guards-Saar & Timson, 2 forwards Fogarty & Carrol and 2 centers Williams & Barra.

Maine has gotten more in with these 6 freshmen skill wise then what they lost thru the 5 transfers.

This incoming 6 freshmen class could beat the 5 transfers that left. Outstanding freshmen class.

Only player not replaceable is Sigi, but who knows, I really like Timson's and Saar's skill sets overall from their videos.

Size at 5'6" and 5'7" is the only negative that appears to be a possible problem for defensive mismatches IF opponents take advantage of that if they have a bigger/taller point guard..

Not sure how that trip makes long term sense. Coach Barron rebuilt this way, but those players fit a very rigid program and conservative tempo. She might see 50 in one city in Europe, but 500 here in the states. I would call Firecracker Coaches and say call us when you see someone we can get. They play all over the East Coast and down into the Carolina's. UNH had a banner season, and they recruit only in the US, plus trying to get some the NE's top players. Hope it works out, but thought she might move in a different direction.
