@UNH, Loss
Bryant, Win
@JMU
@UCF
@Nova
URI
@Albany
W&M
Delaware
@UMass
Stony Brook

Let's find 7 more wins... I will give you URI, Albany. Good chance against Delaware, W&M, and Stony Brook at home (not gimmes at all...will need all of these)... To get to 8 wins we need to beat two of JMU, UCF, Nova, UMass on the road... I imagine we will be underdogs in all of those games. I am curious which ones you think we win?

We could get to the playoffs with just one of those last 4 and that would be sweet. I still think we end up 5-6 or 6-5 at the high end.

In think JMU, Nova and UMASS are all winnable games. I'm not saying they will win all 3 of them, but I think we will win 2 of them.

JMU beat Norfolk yesterday 75-14. JMU is now 3-0 also beating ETSU 52-10 and beating ECU 34-14. So this game will be a real good test for UMO. I'm still predicting a win. Just got that gut feeling. We shall see.

The oddsmakers and the posters on the JMU forum don't give us much of a chance.

Line opens JMU -22 1/2 o/u 64 1/2

JMU fans seem to like their team:

Pretty Close to a " Must Win " Game ??? And one in which our Bears are a serious, serious underdog ?

Three outcomes :

1) A HUGE !!! upset win by the Bears, where maybe, just maybe, our kicking game is solid and even wins the game in the closing seconds ??? ( Not Likely )

2) A close game that UMaine loses, after perhaps even leading at halftime or in 3rd qtr. (thx to JMU turnovers ?) (possible ? and to be appreciated)

3) UMaine gets absolutely clobbered by a much better team ( = most likely outcome, but ..... :o :shock: :D ).

Maine 612, thanks for posting JMU blog. A great read with some good data on just how stacked this JMU team is. There defense has not given up more than 14 pts in a game for the last 9 games including their playoff run to a NC last year.
We are going to have play with no turnovers, cut down on penalties and that O-line is going to have to open some holes for Mack so that we can keep their offense off the field. Believe this team is probably a better team than UCF BUT we had the lead in the 4th last year so you never know. They will not take us lightly b/c of that and knowing it is Family and Friends W/E and just about a sellout they will have a loud home field advantage.
Not having Wright is big for us but I am certain Coach H isn't talking about this and these guys are going in thinking they WILL win this which is huge.
See page 6 of the JMU blog, great sandbag comment by MJ :lol:
JMU 31 Maine 17, would love to have egg all over my face on this ;)

no problem FA FAN. I stick by my prediction that we will not beat JMU. However the continuous Maine bashing on their site has me annoyed. I would like to quiet them down...just don't see it happening.
