I have to agree on this one, as much as I hope this doesn't happen. I'd like to think Harasymiak and Coen made the right decision from the get-go and that Ferguson doesn't get injured. The run-defense is my main concern.

The team with the most rushing yards has won 16 of the past 17 meetings in the series.

If this team wins with the amount of dumb penalties they've committed, it'll be a miracle.

5:25 to go in game UNH 24 Maine 23. Maine takes over as they hold Cats on 4th down. Maine takes over Ball on Maine's 31 yard line.

Mack 98 yards on 25 carries.

3:32 3rd and 6th Maine's own 35. Incomplete pass. 4th down.

Maine has to punt. 3:07 to go. UNH takes over on their own
37.

2nd down UNH moves to its own 41 yard 3rd and 2.

Maine has missed 2 field goal attempts and 1 extra point.

Looks like last year.

Maine stops UNH on 3rd down and 2 and UNH loses 3 years. 4th down and 5 yards to go on UNH's 37.

UNH has to punt on 4th and 6.

Maine fair catch. Fumbled by Edwards but Maine gets the ball back as Edwards recovers the fumbled punt.

2:42 to go. Maine ball on the UNH. lst down pass gain of 9.

Maine has no timeouts left, lst down pass again at the 37 of Maine.

Maine picks up 4 yards 2nd down and 6. Maine pass complete to UNH 46 yard line. Stops the clock with 1:22 to go.

Penalty offside on Maine. Ball now back in Maine territory lst and 15 to go.

Screen to Mack, didn't get out of bounds 1;06. 2nd down incomplete pass.

Maine trying to get into field goal range. 3rd and 11.

Fergurson is sacked at Mid field. 4th and 16...
41 seconds.

Time out UNH. Surprised they called a time out with Main e out of time outs. Gives Maine a chance to get organized for the next play.

Fergurson 23 for 43 tonight for passing.

Time for a trick play. 35 seconds to go. Ball at midfield.

UNH intercepts the pass at their own 35.

2nd interception thrown by Fergurson tonight.

25 seconds to go. Game is over UNH 24 Maine 23.

Again no kick in the UMaine place kicking game.

Oh well. History repeats itself as Maine can't get Kicks to go.

Poor place kicking, foolish penalties, too much predictable ply calling and poor use of timeouts in 4th quarter really hurt the Bears.

More Maine beat themselves then UNH beat the Bears.

Like I have said before when you play with a 2 ended pointed ball you never know how it is going to bounce when it hits the surface, OR WHERE IT WILL GO WHEN YOU HAVE TO KICK A FIELD GOAL OR AN EXTRA POINT.

However, just a basketball senior citizen's opinion, so what do I know about the "2 ended pointed ball game".

Man that sucked.

Same stuff every year. Suspensions, dumb penalties, missed kicks.

Team played hard and Ferguson looked good. Not sure about the 10 straight runs to the left that got stopped. Now probably a year and three months until we get another crack at the musket.

Frustrating. But appreciate the effort.

Amen to the same stuff every year...including the predictable play calling.

So hard to judge but visitors side was half full and there were UNH fans amongst us, although I did notice that some of them moved as the game went on. I would guess 1-2K???
Their side was packed and I am sure they aren't used to having that many fans on the visitors side.

This one for Dunbar , announced crowd was over 15K but visitors side was only 1/2 full and there were some seats in both upper corners on home side. Isn't max 12K??? Just know there was certainly room for 3-5K more.

I think the 12k does not include the student section.
As of Wednesday evening they had sold 9.4k
We usually get 1 to 1.5k walk ups day of. We may have had more yesterday
I have to think we had 2 to 3k students.
There were lots of fans standing in the end zones.
