We're less than eight weeks out, I'm bored, so let's get it started.

Summer has just started. Football is still a long way off. I'll wait for Bunker's Week #1 Predictions thread.

That's a pretty decent schedule for the league in Week 1. Will be fun to watch some of those matchups.

I agree Bam. Highlight games are Richmond and Sam Houston and JMU-E. Carolina and of course ours and UNH.
No ESPN3 for our game? I would have thought that was the reasor for Thursday nite similar to last yrs game with UConn.

The league doesn't have (or hasn't announced) a TV deal yet. New Hampshire has streamed via YouTube with their radio simulcast.

I will be making the trip south regardless of the coverage and looking forward to the "New" stadium and sitting on what was the home side, really gonna miss those 6 rows of visitor benches
To make this a Thursday nite game instead of Saturday nite just would have thought it was done for TV dollars???

Not ready to make my forecast yet but it is fair to call Week 1 a must win? Seriously... look at the schedule. I think making the playoffs would be very tough sledding without winning in Durham.

Go Maine! Can't wait.

Simply put, they need to be 3-2 (maybe 2-3) after the gauntlet (the road trips to Madison, UCF, and Villanova) to have a shot. Win one of those three, and they're still in the hunt. Once the Rhody game rolls around, things get significantly easier. The toughest game down the stretch is UMass, which wouldn't win the CAA, plus it's a novelty game at a neutral site.

Agreed Dunbar. Those three could be losses (likely?)..therefore UNH to me is a must win. Picking off one of those three could make us 3-2 which would put Maine is a great position going forward.

Still considering heading to Orlando. Mickey/Maine combo.
