Olympic Gold Medalist Competes for Mental Health on Maine Campus Tour

AUGUSTA - NAMI Maine is thrilled to announce the upcoming mental health campus tour, featuring Chamique Holdsclaw, former WNBA All-Star, Olympic Gold Medalist and 3-time NCAA Champion.

During the week of January 29th, NAMI Maine and Holdsclaw will partner with UMaine, Bates, Bowdoin and Colby for a free series of awareness events, in addition to engaging with the student athletes, coaches and staff on each campus. These four events include a screening of her biographical documentary, Mind/Game: The Unquiet Journey of Chamique Holdsclaw, narrated by the highly decorated actress and fellow mental health activist, Glenn Close. Following the film, Chamique will participate in a discussion panel and engage in questions from the audience.
