Ryan Flaherty was the 41st draft pick overall and went to the Chicago Cubs.

No other players with Maine ties were drafted through 6 Rounds today.

To be continued tomorrow.

AJ did not go b/c his velocity was just too inconsistent. He had a very minor back injury that set him back quite a bit velocity wiset hat he pitched through (not my recomendation) and he truly didn't come back to his velo in his last 3 starts where he sat between 85-92.

I am glad he ddin't get drafted b/c 3 years of school will better prepare him for the 2011 draft and it will be at that point to where he feels loyal for a senior season or not.

Which are the most draftable kids for the 09 season in the America East/ Maine other than Cather proivded he does/ does not sign with the Nationals?

Thanks,

Charlie Bazdanes

For Maine at least, the obvious one is Mykie L., although I "almost" want to hope NOT !
