Louisville wraps up Rivals150 junior David Johnson

Louisville has been one of the best at getting ahead in future classes and on Friday evening, the Cardinals struck again with the commitment of 2019 combo guard David Johnson. A member of the Rivals150 and a four-star recruit, Johnson is another strong start for the ACC program in getting a leg up on its competitors within the junior ranks.

A smooth and versatile scorer that boasts a plethora of upside and the chance to grow into a primary scoring capacity for the Cardinals, Louisville did not dance around the fact that they wanted Johnson. While a number of Big 10 programs and local power conference schools showed interest, Rick Pitino and his staff did a great job of making Johnson a priority before he entered his upperclassmen years.
