NBPA Top 100: Drew Timme sees the bluebloods enter the mix

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – One of the most heavily recruited prospects in the 2019 class, Drew Timme remains a wanted man for some of the top programs nationally. Far from a college decision, the Rivals150 forward has seen a few blue bloods enter the mix as a cut list is on the horizon.

Competing against the elite at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Timme discussed his time in Charlottesville. “Just playing against the best, this is the place to do it. There is no one that can’t play here,” he said before recapping his spring. “It has been crazy. It has been a lot of fun and I am just grateful for all of the attention that I have received.”

Offers from Baylor, Purdue, Virginia, Gonzaga, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida and Texas are in for Timme, though Michigan, Arizona and Duke have also begun to show heavy attention of late.

NBPA Top 100: Aidan Igiehon nears a cut list with visits in mind

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – One of the more unique stories in the 2019 class, the future of Ireland’s national basketball program, Aidan Igiehon, has not been short on college interest since his high school career began. Entering his senior summer, he discussed his strengths, those involved and potential visits on the horizon.

“I used to play soccer, so I am used to go, go, go. So I am a pretty natural athlete that can go run and jump,” he said regarding his well-polished motor. “Just getting up and down is what I do best. I have just been trying to show my versatility.”

Oregon, Stanford, UConn, St. John’s, Louisville, Indiana and Florida are just a few that have placed a heavy priority on the Irish standout.

NBPA Top 100: A slew of suitors emerge for Patrick Williams

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The spring has treated top 75 wing Patrick Williams well, as he has blossomed into a must-get for some of the top programs along the East Coast. A man of few words, Williams lets his game do the talking, and a plethora of ACC and SEC powers have taken notice.

A 6-foot-6 wing that can play a plethora of positions and on either end, Williams isn’t willing to show his hand on any programs emerging as favorites.

“Nobody has really separated themselves in my mind,” he said. “I will be taking some visits. I am not sure when, but they will be coming up.”

NBPA Top 100: Precious Achiuwa in no rush with recruitment

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – One of the most talented and versatile prospects in the 2019 class, Precious Achiuwa has been a standout performer all week long at the famed NBPA Top 100 Camp. Following another highlight outing, Achiuwa discussed his consistent play in Virginia, a few schools remaining in close contact and when his recruitment could pick up again.

“The first session and second sessions of UA, I went back and watched a couple films and I figured I could go a little harder. I think I turned up the switch a little harder but I could probably could even more,” he said regarding his hard-playing week at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. “I am just coming out here and having fun, showing everybody what I can do. Just on the ball and off of the ball, showing how my game has improved from earlier in the AAU season up until now.”

In no rush to make a decision, he did say that Kansas, UConn, St. John’s, UCLA and Pitt are among those that have remained in close contact.
