ESPN announces updated 2018 rankings

...Several local names made the list including quite a few debut appearances.

It all began with Vermont Academy forward Simisola Shittu who retained his place in the top 10 with a huge EYBL regular season followed by a big performance at the NBA Top 100 Camp.

The first true local product to check-in was St. Andrew's and BABC forward Cole Swider who checked in at 48 on the list. Swider was the first of four New England products to be clustered in the next six spots as the title of New England's best is obviously still very much up for grabs.

Milton Academy and New York Rens guard Cormac Ryan moved into the 50th spot after a solid showing on this year's EYBL circuit while Mass Rivals guard A.J. Reeves and David Duke, from Brimmer & May and Cushing Academy, have played their way inside the 60 at 53 and 54.

VIDEO: Shareef O'Neal (@cynreef) shows off array of two-handed dunks https://usat.ly/2tr9jgb via @hometeamhoops

There is no doubt that Arizona commit Shareef O’Neal is powerful around the rim. O’Neal is ranked No. 18 overall and the No. 3 prospect in the latest ESPN 100 for the Class of 2018.

In highlights from last weekend from Home Team Hoops, O’Neal breaks out an array of two-handed dunks, reminiscent of his dad, Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal.
