Mountain Valley- 5
Dirigo- 8
F/7

Let me first start and say this was the best game I have seen in a long long time!!
Dirigo scores 1 in the first to take the lead. Then the top of the 2nd MV gets back to back 1 run homers and take the lead. The bottom of the 2nd Dirigo scores 3 and takes back the lead at 4-2.
Then there were 3 scoreless innings and then in the top of the fifth Justin Stairs with his second homerun of the day and scores 2 and ties the game up. But in the bottom of the 5th Dirigo comes back and score 1 to take the lead again. Then on the bottom of the 6th Levi Hutchins hits a 3 run homer and makes it 8-4. Then the top of 7th MV loads the bases with no outs. After one out MV scores 1 run and then Dirigo gets a ground ball to 2nd and then ends it with a strike out. A GREAT GAME!! Good Luck to both teams in the rest of the season!

GSA 6
Stearns 0

GSA Is Flat out Good!!! they are going to be tough to stop in Class C Eastern Maine, although Searsport will give them a run for the title.

Gardiner 12
Oak Hill 0
5 innings

Gardiner pounds the ball and gets 9 runs in the first. Lavallee pitched well for the tigers. Top hitters (just about everyone) were Stilphen, Chadwick, Kennerson, Maschino,Abbott and Lavallee who had a 3-run homer in the second.

Lincoln Academy 6
Waterville 5

Game was a 1-1 pitchers duel up until the 7th. Waterville put up 4 in the top of the 7th. But Lincoln Academy, who is bringing a new meaning to the name Cardiac Kids, put up 5 in the bottom of the frame to take the game.
Lincoln now improves to 7-2 on the season and Waterville falls to 4-5. Waterville is a much better team than their record reflects. I guess their record reflects that fact that their feilding is a bit suspect and their pitching is a bit shallow. But their hitting is one of the tops in the KVAC.
