Was it rough weather up there for those meets this weekend?

In regards to the Men's times in the State meets ....Saw a few individual good performances by underclassmen, but overall the winning and top performances seemed a little under par. Particularly the middle and long distances where Maine usually produces some solid times.

It was windy at the A meet and I think that affected the distance races.

Any word on Flaker? I feel like Scarborough is sitting back and saying
"man, what could have been".

Sad to see the state's best sprinter out for the state's biggest meet.

The New England Outdoor Championship Meet is June 9th, 2018. Did not see his name on the entry list. Unfortunate because his PR this year would have seeded him 4th on the list and overall the 100m times are slow with the fastest in New England at only 10.7. I think had Flaker competed (assuming he would be healthy mentally and physically) he would have had a shot at winning.

You qualify for the New England by placing in the state meet. Since he could not run in the state meet he is not eligible to run in the New England meet. He will probably rehab this summer and hopefully be ready for football in the fall.
