Local Trio Taking Part in Adidas Nations

The month of July may be over but that doesn't mean that Adidas' summer schedule has stopped just yet.

In fact, four New England products are currently in Los Angeles taking part in Adidas Nations, the final event of the Adidas Uprising summer schedule.

Adidas Nations features some of the top 18-and-under players in the world, divided into seven regional teams - Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, Latin America, Nations Select and the United States (Wall, Lillard and Noah).

Evans' Takeaways: What we learned from Adidas Nations

HOUSTON – During a weekend spent in the gym evaluating some of the best high school and international talent, Zion Williamson, Jaelin Llewellyn and Cole Anthony made the biggest impressions but several others impressed as well. We discuss what we learned at the Adidas Nations Global event.

Local Products Return from Adidas Nations

...here were only 20 players in the class of 2018 selected from the United States and three of those came from New England as David Duke, Nate Laszewski, and A.J. Reeves all suited up for the USA Blue 2018 team. All three had a solid week of action as they all finished among the team's leaders in minutes played and helped them advance to Monday's third place game.

Duke averaged 9.6 points along with 3.6 rebounds while shooting 58% from the floor and 43% from the three-point line. Laszewski averaged 8.8 points on 45% shooting and 48% from three. Reeves averaged 9.2 points per game on 46% shooting from the floor and 35% from three.

Adidas Nations Global: All-United States Team

Adidas Nations Global: All-United States Team

HOUSTON – The Adidas Nations Global event came to an end on Monday evening, as the Three Stripes brand assembled some of the very best talent that the college, high school and international platforms have to provide.

Eight prep teams were put together; four were comprised of domestic talent, while the others included solely players from outside of the United States. No one had a more dominant showing than Zion Williamson, the second-ranked player in the 2018 class.

I've put together an All-United States team from the event, mixing and matching a roster of players that complement each other into a workable team.

STARTING FIVE

BENCH

David Duke - Cushing Academy
