Trek Across Maine fundraiser begins Friday
The first leg of the 180-mile trek will begin at Sunday River ski resort and end at Farmington

The first leg of the Trek Across Maine, a three-day cycling tour that raises money for the American Lung Association, kicks off Friday in Bethel .

The 180-mile cycling tour begins at Sunday River Ski Resort in Newry. Cyclists will travel to Farmington on Friday, ending at the University of Maine at Farmington, where they will spend the night.

On Saturday cyclists will travel from Farmington to Colby College in Waterville, where they will be met with refreshments and spend the night. Cyclists will depart Sunday morning from Colby for the final leg of the trek, which ends in Belfast.
