From the mountains of Sunday River to the sea in Belfast, Maine, enjoy the beautiful scenery as you ride 180 miles* across the state in support of the American Lung Association. Overnight accommodations are provided at the University of Maine at Farmington and at Colby College in Waterville.

Trekkers are required to raise $500 in order to ride, along with a non-refundable $65 registration fee. (Children ages 7 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. Minimum pledge requirement for ages 7 - 17 is $400. No children under the age of 7 permitted to ride).

American Lung Association retires number of cyclist killed in Trek Across Maine

The bib number worn by a Massachusetts cyclist killed in the Trek Across Maine will never again be worn by any trekker.

Jeff Seyler, CEO of the American Lung Association of the Northeast, said Wednesday bib number 1945, worn by David LeClair, 23, has been retired.

Seyler said the decision was announced Saturday during the Trek’s second stop at Colby College in Waterville.
