Scarborough rallies to stave off upset bid by Windham
The undefeated Red Storm score twice in the second half to advance to the Class A South semifinals.

...“In the second half I think the wind (played a factor) but it was also my players putting their stamp on the game a little bit,” said Scarborough Coach Mike Farley, whose team reached the regional final last year.

“I’ve got to hand it to Windham. They came out and really did good job in the first half putting us under pressure. In the second half I told the kids they have to go out and pin them in their own end. They will have trouble clearing the ball (in the wind) just like we did.

“As soon as a ball gets played out we’ve got to win the next one and keep the pressure on them. We pretty much did that the whole second half.”

The Red Storm kept the ball in the Windham end for most of the second half, outshooting the Eagles 13-2 and enjoying a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
