(MBRsports, an AAU 501c3 club)

A few quick notes and then I'll be back to add to it ..

- We'll post AAU clubs in Maine, Sanctioned AAU events, etc ... submit your yours to tom@mbr.org .. include sports your club is involved with ....

- We'll add topics for different sports to talk about the current structure in each. Ways we could improve opportunities by working together .. I know N.E. AAU , the regional district feels that way, and we feel same as a member club.

We started our 1st AAU club in 1992 and have had an active club since. We have run large amounts of teams and tournaments so we can assist all with info . It's been great to see the proliferation of off-season opportunities for Mainers, the growth of facilities in Maine and New England.

MBR plans to ramp up promotion of all off-season sports and players, and offer fundraising broadcast for off-season teams ..

- We'll add all the specifics , yet keep it simple and to the point.
How to start a team
How to get insurance . when are you insured ?

In its 3rd year, Maine Select Basketball Club is based out of the Bangor area. 2016 produced 6 teams with over 50 athletes from all over the state, ranging from 7th grade through 11th grade. We are looking forward to another great year with more great players.
