Dunn calls for Autism awareness at Speedway 95 car show

BANGOR - Delaney Dunn experiences the same thrills that any other driver at the Speedway 95 car show does when racing.

"Once I'm strapped into the car, that's when the nerves start," the 18-year-old said Friday. "But once those front tires hit the pavement, all those nerves go away."

Yet her car, and her story, are unlike any other driver's. That's because Dunn is autistic, and she has embraced the challenges in front of her.
