Fort Kent native Austin Theriault finished 10th in the race for the Brad Keselowski Racing team..

When race leader Tyler Reddick missed his second shift of the night on the final restart, Custer attacked and cleared the field to cruise to a 0.871-second win over Spencer Gallagher. It was the 17-year-old NASCAR Next driver’s first victory of the year.

The 21-year-old Theriault started in 10th after rain canceled qualifying..

Johnny Sauter finished third among 32 finishers and was followed by John H. Nemechek, Cameron Hayley, Timothy Peters, Ben Kennedy, Reddick, Daniel Hemric and Theriault.

Theriault ready to take final truck tests
The Fort Kent driver will be racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Austin Theriault is sure he has learned a lot in his summer traveling with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Now he has seven on-track tests to prove whether he’ll further his NASCAR education in 2016.

Theriault, 21, from Fort Kent, will make his seventh of 13 planned starts in the No. 29 Ford F-150 owned by Brad Keselowski Racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday.
