Foster's Boys Soccer Capsules - Class A

MARSHWOOD
Outlook: The Hawks will try to stay competitive despite graduating nine starters. “Most would consider this a rebuilding year,” said Deschene. “However, we do show great signs of potential with some guys who know how to score and some speed in certain positions.” ... LaSelva and Goodenough are serving as team captains. ... Deschene said the key will be improving defensively and getting everyone together on the same page. ... Marshwood opens on Friday at home against Thornton Academy.

NOBLE
Outlook: After going winless in 2015, the Knights improved drastically last year to come within one victory of making the tournament. Noble has 12 returning members and looks to return to the tourney for the first time since 2014. The key will be getting on track early. ... The Knights return their leading scorer in McGilvery. They look to be strong in the midfield and offensive end.
