The Rams stay unbeaten by topping Marshwood.

Highlighted by a beautiful goal from Erick Pereira, Deering defeated Marshwood 3-1 in Class A boys’ soccer on Tuesday.

“I’m just really happy about the Heal points,” said Deering Coach Joel Costigan. “(Marshwood) is a quality team to beat and it’s one of the teams we need to beat.”

With 1:37 left in the first half and the score tied at 1, Pereira made a terrific move to fake out a defender and launched his shot from beyond the 30-yard line.

“I saw the space and I decided to go for it,” said Pereira.
