Girls' West Regional Hockey Finals: Falmouth beats York
A can't-be-contained scorer and a can't-be-scored-on goalie make the difference.

PORTLAND - Defenseman Megan Fortier could not be contained and goalie Kirsten Mazur was on her game Wednesday as Falmouth beat York 4-0 in the girls' hockey Western regional final at the Portland Ice Arena.
Top-seeded Falmouth (19-1) moved on to the state final against Greely at 7 p.m. Saturday at Lewiston.
York (13-4-3) was the defending West champion.
Fortier led Falmouth with three goals. Jayde Bazinet added a goal and an assist.
The Wildcats played a tight defense, especially against Fortier, but one of the results was seven penalties against York, five committed against Fortier.
