Tennis teams struggling to get outside ahead of first matches

(WAGM) - It's hard to believe, but the spring sports season is already underway downstate. A few county tennis teams will begin their season this weekend. Caribou and Presque Isle will both be in action tomorrow, and both teams have had a tough time practicing on their home courts in the preseason.

The Presque Isle tennis teams have not had an outdoor practice yet this year.

"We attempted to shovel the courts, but it was bailing a sinking ship and we weren't able to do it. So the kids are working hard inside," said Presque Isle girls tennis coach Monica Bearden.
