Go Windham

Congratulations to the Eagles with their third consecutive undefeated regular season in the SMAA. And kudos to four-time SMAA doubles champions ...three of those to current seniors Rallis and Stultz ...And kudos also three singles players advancing to the round of 16 state singles championship - the Johnson brothers Nate and Ryan - and Dan Crocker.
Looks good for a first-time team Tennis State Championship will go along with Windham's first State Football Championship.

Go Eagles!

I'm not saying Windham will not win their 1st class A boy's Tennis Championship, but there is a team in the East with 7 consecutive state titles. I know this weekend your #3 defeated their #1, however they have 2 strong doubles teams, and 1 upset at singles gives them a 8th title. Dont count the Eastern champs just yet, but I will give Windham the edge after watching tennis this weekend.

Fair enough ...I guess that is why they have to play it out ...kinda like the Celtics on paper did not have a chance this year, but the reality is they were the best in the East and now have a shot at another title.

Good luck to all ...(Go Windham!)

Prelims are over ...bring on the main event ...two 15-0 teams who have always seen Lewiston come out on top. Is that streak about to end? Will Lewiston see their 8th straight state title run ended? Stay tuned ...

Prediction:

#1 Singles Windham (Close match)
#2 Windham (Easy Win)
#3 Lewiston (3 set match)
#1 Doubles Lewiston (3 sets)
#2 Doubles THIS DETERMINES THE WINNER.

I really think this could be 4-1 Lewiston or 4-1 Windham, thats how even the two teams are.

Overall favorites....Windham slightyly (would say windham outright, but with LEwistons tradition, I cannot give Windham a LARGE Edge).

Only wish I could be there, someone post results ASAP.
