Marshwood girls hand Windham first loss

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — The Marshwood High School girls lacrosse team handed Class A North Windham its first loss, 9-6 on Monday.

Marin Smith led the attack with four goals, while Reagan Nichols added two goals and two assists. Luci Albers also scored twice, while Hannah Costin added a single tally. Paige Singer had four assists, and Skyler Amsden made 15 saves in goal.

Chloe Shields, Celine Lawrence, McKenna Janes and McKenna Janes played excellent defense for the Class A South Hawks, who visit Cheverus Tuesday. Windham is 6-1.
